"I feel my nylon sneakers slapping against the pink brick sidewalk. I can see the whole city from here."

"A late night Mexican restaurant feeds a sound track of mariachi music into the night. I can smell a variety of aromas hidden in the shadows. I run my fingers through the hidden corners and thorny shrubbery, outside of the restaurant, my fingertips began to smell like sage and a hint of stale cigarette smoke. It reminds me of something, a memory that is young and lost somewhere deep down inside of my mind, like echoes of a half forgotten dream. I could more smell it then feel it, but it was there."

"The world pounds to the tempo of my pulse. The skyline is flat and the color of blushing skin. The dessert can seem so shy at times like this."
